Five (also some comeback "words" *yeah, words*)

Yeah, I delay stuff... lol

But I've not forgotten this blog yet, I just couldn't
after severe punch back into video gaming, I play.... and play... and play...

*reinstalled Skyrim btw*

yet, beside all the video gaming stuff, I got closer to my musical stuff... I've even tried a new instrument...

*sfx : Drumroll*

the saxophone

*crowd cheering, much wow*

lol, jk, no need to brag actually.... but I really do play the sax, since this February...

okay, enough from my musical side, 'tis time for my writing stuff...

I've been thinking, instead of writing short stories, why not poem instead?
It can be shorter than a short story, as long as a short story, or even longer than a short story;
You can incorporated the "poetic" words easily on poems;
And rhymes are just a challenge that is too intriguing to be ignored...
Rhymes are easily incorporated on poems btw

*lastly, some girls digs poems, am I right ladies?*

anyway, here's my take on the 24 lined poems, divided equally by 6 verses

so, as always, comment, like (or dislike), and share. your comments criticisms are very well appreciated.

Five

Changes were nothing but drastic
So I was convinced it’s fantastic
Perhaps I was just a fanatic
Shivers in fears, hiding the panics

I deny the weights on my shoulder
They’ve done nothing but break me down
I must shove them back to my holster
Yet, it is blocked by my own boulder

Still, in anger I have immersed
With mere mortal pain, I traverse
I can do nothing, but observe
Saw myself changes for the worse

All the bargains I have made
Though perhaps, nothing will ever aid
I have ran out of masquerade
All the figures to be portrayed

Once again fell to deepest depression
Fade, all of the useless aggression
All was made but the simplest progression
Nothing left, but the humblest confession

I need no assistance
I shall do this with no reluctance
All I need was acceptance
To punch me back into freedom

Back From Power Study

As all my friends (who read this stuff) know, on the start of 2014 I was still in middle school, 9th grade. Early May 2014, I faced my final test

The result... satisfying enough...

Anyway, because February - April was filled with practical tests, and written test, I don't have enough time to write. (see, it's not always because of video game...)

My last post was on February 22nd, and in fact, I don't know why I could write a post here...
Memories gone....

Anyway, May 9th until July 10th I got a holiday...

and again because I played so many video games, I couldn't post here often...

The latest one is Deus Ex : Human Revolution and Spec Ops : The Line...

Spec Ops : The Line (I'm referring as The Line for the rest of the post) is one sick game...

I mean seriously. The Line was one of few games (perhaps the only one game) designed to make you regret your decision you (and I) make in the game.

For some people think that The Line was another mindless shooter, then you probably never played that game before. I mean yeah, if you look at the wikipedia site of the game (Click Here), the genre stated there is clearly "Third-person shooter", and the gameplay matched the genre.

But I tell you. The Line is more than a shooter.

Because I'm a nice guy (-ish) and I don't want to spoil anything to any of you who haven't played the game yet, I don't include explanation why it's more than a shooter (well, if you think again, it's a small spoiler, doesn't it?)

I'm not sponsored by whoever made this video game, but I strongly suggest all of you who usually play generic shooters like Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, of Battlefield, to play the game, and rethink about your action in such games...

Speaking of rethink action, I finished The Line before I played Human Revolution. and the way I played in Human Revolution is different from playing similar games before I played The Line

Yep, The Line has, quite literally, changed the way I behave in playing video games.

The similar game to Human Revolution that I've played is Dishonored...
Not because the story, the gameplay (well, their gameplay is quite similar in my opinion),
But they're the same because the game gave us choice to kill or not to kill a target.

The first time I played Dishonored, I killed all the guards, and few of the targets.
But then, I looked at the Internet there was an alternate ending (dammit, I've given a spoiler) to those who play with low chaos (few kills).

So, I retry Dishonored without killing guards, but simply knocking them unconscious.

Back to Human Revolution, I played from the start without trying to kill them, simply knocking them unconscious.

No, it's not because of the bonus EXP for knocking enemies unconscious, and not because I want to try the "Pacifist" achievement

As a matter of fact, I didn't know there was a bonus EXP for knocking enemies unconscious until the 2nd to final boss.

Speaking of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I love the story of Human Revolution. The Cybernetic Augmentations given as an upgrade points in the game are awesome, and perhaps, I might want to have one installed in my body sometime in the future, especially the CASIE augmentation.

Anyway, The Line has rewritten my thoughts of every shooter there is...

Oh and one more thing.
I currently working on a story which is inspired from The Line, the key plots of the story, and the condition of Cpt. Martin Walker himself, so next month, Perhaps around August 17th, okay?

Do you feel like a hero yet?

some things about bullying

so, I was surfing the internet (YouTube, specifically) and I saw an post about... Wait, do you know TheFineBros's video of Teens React? Or if you don't, then you probably know Amanda Todd, or her suicide...

you may have guessed what I'm talking about. Yes BULLYING.

This problem has occurred worldwide lately. Especially, in developed countries (like the USA or UK) and some developing countries. But actually, bullying may happen all over the world.

Usually, bullying is divided into 3 based on how did the bully do.

  1. Physical bully             (you all may know the examples)
  2. Verbal bully                 (Example, Making fun of somebody, mocking somebody, etc)
  3. Psychological bully    (Search the internet for this one)

But these days, experts have added one more category
  1. Electronic bully           (bullying from any types of electronic devices.)

Personally, I believe the least devastating one physical bully. Because, people only got hurt by the outside. But, still there is no reason to physically bully someone because it's the least devastating way to bully someone. And, THERE IS NO REASON TO BULLY SOMEONE!!!

Troubles (not Haven's Troubles) is mainly the cause of bullying. People who has a lot of trouble is most likely to become a bully itself. The troubles include the trouble of being bullied.

Stress can also be a cause of bullying. People who always stressed out might bully some people to feel better, but leaves a horrible results.

effects of bullying mainly affecting the victim, not the bully.
for this one, I personally divide this result by two.

  1. Self effect = Affecting the victim's self, whether it's for a long or short period
    1. 1. Physical effect (affected the body, health, or even life.)
      Example: Committing suicide, self-harm, etc
    2. 2. Non-physical effect (affected mental state, feeling, etc)
Example: Crying for no reason, Feel unsafe, etc.

  1. Future Result = Affecting the victim's future.

    1. Positive effect

Occur when the victim think that bullying is just something to improve themselves.
This may happen to if victim completely ignore the bullying.
This occur when victim is tough from the inside.
So, this effect is least likely to happen.
But, if happen, the victim will be a successful people, even more than the bully.

    2. Negative effect

    This one is mainly occur
Occur when the victim think that bullying is someone's opinion that victim is weak, etc.
Usually want to commit suicide or want some revenge to the bully.
This kind of victim usually will become a murderer, terrorist, etc.

So, how do we prevent bullying?

First thing first. Get some education about bullying. Like sex education, or peer education, this is the most effective way to prevent bullying.

second, if you're the bully, please, just... stop... if you're picking on somebody, that mean that you're weaker that the people you're picking. I've already seen that people, especially nerds, geeks, etc are very miserable of these things.

There are a lot of alternatives than to bully your friends.
If you have a trouble, don't be afraid to speak up to your parents, teacher, friend, or even to some homeless you you don't know.

and, if you're the victim, I just have two things to say
first, please be strong, don't giving up on your life, or plan a revenge.
and second, pray your bully. by praying, God will help you.

That's all. and, I hope that bullying will be erased from our history.

Harlem Shake... Gangnam Style replacement

first of all... I'm really really really sorry because I didn't post any new posts lately...

okay, that's all for the apologize.

Earlier this month, YouTube is filled with videos of Harlem Shake (HS)... and around last year, Gangnam Style (GS) was a popular song (and dance, apparently). In mid 2013 (or maybe, this April) Harlem Shake might be as popular as Gangnam Style last year, or maybe even more popular...

Factor that I think Harlem Shake will be more popular than Gangnam Style...
1. For some people, it's funnier than Gangnam Style (the music video)
2. It's easier to recreate (you just idiotically move your body according to the music)
3. You can make your own interpretation.

that's all...
For those all people who still like GS more than HS, it's okay. These are just my own opinion, it's not for offense people...

I'm sorry if I offense anyone

Quotes

What passed on your mind when you see this title...
yea. I bet most of you will think of notable sentences that certain someone or certain character said in your life or in the movies...

But most of you won't think video games as a great "Quotes Producer"

if I'm wrong, don't ask me for your... let's just say... reward as the bet.
we haven't dealt yet...

Some video games (yes... the ones that I've played... but mostly search from the wikia pages) have some amazing Quotes

let's see this one
from Assassin's Creed Series

"When I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it. Many decades would pass before I understood the meaning of all three. Now, in the twilight of my life, misunderstanding has passed into contentment. Love, liberty, and time, once so disposable, are the fuels that drive me forward."
Ezio Auditore da Firenze

or this one
from Prototype

"I looked for the truth, found it. Didn't like it, wish the hell I could forget it. Alex Mercer.... this city suffered for his mistakes... for what he did at Penn station and whoever he was, that's a part of me, 'cause when I close my eyes, I see the memories of a thousand dead men, screaming as I take their lives. Moments I'll relive forever. What have I become? Something less than human, but also something more."
Alex Mercer

So,  not all of Video games bad at "Generating" quotes

What The Hell!?!?

I somebody (maybe everybody) shocked, the simply just say "What The Hell!?!?!?!"

If someone say that to me, I will reply that with this.

"'The Hell' is a place where (or when) you die and you have a lot of sins, but you don't want to confess the sins."

Parkour thingy

Okay, I want to talk about my other interest.

Parkour...
Even though I can't do it...

It's amazing how traceur (People who do parkour... sorry if misspell) do (almost) every stunts and gymnastic thingy on an asphalt or another hard surfaces, while stuntmen (or women) and gymnast do in on a soft surfaces...

Wow... Those traceur (again... sorry if misspell) must have an amazing reflexes and the must have a hard skull...
